2021 Social Token Projects
The social token landscape is a growing space, consisting of a wide range of creators, communities, DAOs, and the tooling that enables each project. While it's neither possible nor practical to keep tabs on all of them, surveying the social token landscape is critical.
Now that you understand the basics of social tokens, it's time to learn about some of the projects in this ever-growing space. The goal of this course is not to canonize or be comprehensive, but to offer a glimpse into the magic unfolding all around us.

Global Coin Research is a social currency (cryptocurrency) for the Global Coin Research community of readers, writers, investors and community members.
mCLUB ($mCLUB)
mCLUB is a grant-giving DAO incubated by Seed Club that recruits, backs, and supports creators onto the Mirror platform;
Protein Community ($PRTN)
Protein is reimagining and redefining a new meaning of growth for this exciting new world. By rebuilding its longtime community from the ground up, Protein seeks to create a place that encourages and nurtures a new definition of growth, based on mutual collaboration, conversation, and the needs of the community.
Random Number Generator ($RNG)
The Random Number Generator community ($RNG) is a social club of some of the coolest founders/investors in the gaming and interactive media landscape to game, hang, and test the boundaries of social token structures. It has been created by Richard Kim as a social experiment.
Seed Club ($CLUB)
Seed Club is a DAO that builds, supports, and invests in tokenized communities. A few times a year, Seed Club brings the most promising social token projects together in small cohorts to work alongside some of the smartest people in the social token, creator economy and crypto spaces.
Whale ($WHALE)
$WHALE is a social currency (cryptocurrency) that is backed by tangible and rare Non-Fungible Token (NFT) assets, while embodying scarcity through definitive limited issuance.
Creator Tokens
Andre Anjos ($RAC)
$RAC is the community token behind Grammy-winning musician RAC. Tokens were earned by community members through a retroactive airdrop to Patreon, Twitch, Bandcamp and merch supporters.
Coin Artist ($COIN)
$COIN is the social token of Marguerite DeCourcelle, better known by her cypherpunk Twitter persona coin_artist. COIN grants access to Coin’s E-Den, a syndicate within Neon District.
Connie Digital ($HUE)
Created by artist Connie Digital in August 2019, HUE is one of oldest social tokens and is responsible for helping launch the social token category. HUE is also the first social token used to trade digital collectibles (NFTs).
